Fantastic stuff guys
-
Absolutely great! Great boards, great minis, great buildings!
BTW: the big round tower on the board - can you tell me where you got it? I wanted to buy this one too, but I simply forgot were i have seen it
And BTW 2: six players where involved in your game. Does TSatF work well with six players? Well there are other rulesets out there where you can play with more than 2 players, but it becomes quite boring, because you just have to wait most of the time....
Gruss, Hagen

Hallo Hagen - thanks for the comments. The rules worked well with many players. With the card activation system, you don't have long to wait until your turn to move or fire.
@Prof - I would also like to know from which manufacturer is the round tower and the other tower where the Gardner MG was positioned.
-
Fantastic scenerey, and models.
This was a big battle, how many models was it in this game?
peace!
-
Excellent after action report and super pictures! Well Done, you chaps! Looking forward to seeing more of your figures in the future!

thanks, Dom, great report! The tower and the tower house are from Monolith.
-
Splendid! Everything is phenomenal!
I would have hated to have played the British. I can feel myself sweating reading that report.
-
That's awesome!
Olivier
-
Superb.
-
Thanks guys!
@Prof - did you order direct from Monolith? How long did they take?
-
Thanks guys!
@Prof - did you order direct from Monolith? How long did they take?
yep, direct. some months...
-
@Morten - there were about 80 British/Sikhs/Askari vs 180 Mahdists (that kept coming back to life!)
-
excellent, figures, excellent terrain, excellent report. overall just excellent!
I always like to see the British forces form squares and fight it out with the bayonet against impossible odds! :)
-
Absolutely fantastic!
Love the terrain, and table - could easly be used for some pulp heat, too 8)
-
If I may answer for Driscoles and Grimm - the table is indeed being used for Pulp. If you visit Tactica, you will see it in its Pulp format!
-
Nice report you chaps. Brings back nightmares about my command of the British just before Christmas :(
-
On behalf of all responsible for the above game, thanks for all your kind comments!
For all ye interested in the Sudan, I have a question. Where do these lovely houses and town walls come from (Pic from this month's Wargames Illustrated):
-
the houses are from Monolith
the walls maybe too (but i'm not sure)
-
I think the pointed Sudan huts are also Monolith?
-
I think the pointed Sudan huts are also Monolith?
No - Not ours - though the buildings are - part of the Islamic range, which comes with a choice of either flat or domed roof
-
I think the pointed thatch huts are from Hovels.
-
Yep, that's it. Just checked.... If they are not, they are very much like that from Hovels anyway....
-
Excellent work !
Could you tell us which manucfaturers are engaged in the battle ! Some looks like Perry's ?
-
Thanks!
The Brits are all Perrys.
The Sikhs are Foundry (but Perry sculpts)
The Mahdists are a mix of some Perrys, OGs, Foundries and Falcon USA.
