Title: identifying Foundry Zulus
Post by: italwars on March 09, 2016, 08:33:17 PM
Hello
Many years ago i owned the WF catalogue/adv with the first type Zulu Range..they were sold individually and each ref had his own line drawing and description including, the most important thing, the regiment that the mini depicted..they were , of course in full regalia...and as i find many of them on my lead mountain boxes i would like to have a try at painting them..after having then identified, named by Regiment, given the right shield and status ecc.. ...
in the new zulu web page some or all of those old ref have been grouped together in a single pack...but only with a generic description "in ceremonial dress"...
any help please?..or...it could be great if somebody still have a scan of the orginals adv/catalogue to send me (ital.wars@libero.it)
many thanks

Casting Room have (re) released the Copplestone-dolly WF Zulus.

The store front has each named regiment or warrior type - would that give your the info you need?

But they are reworked on the Copplestone dollies, right?

Darrell.

This excellent guide to the Zulu regiments (by Mick Farnsworth for Wargames Factory) has a wealth of detail including headress and shield designations.
