Post by: Hammers on May 01, 2016, 08:21:17 PM: Although I am satisfied how the Rolle turned out, putting it together was a fiddly affair. The new Empress vehicle crew were a joy to paint. They have a lot of character, especially the Jazz Age chap-hopper with the service cap on arsy-versy.

Post by: Uncle Mike on May 01, 2016, 08:48:46 PM: Oof...Gently Hammers, gently! Had i know you would bring a mini tank, armoured car and bicycle i would have painted more bugs! ;)

Also, throwsFireball, all the figures, including the bugs are from Mars Attacks. Very much fun to paint...and my second big project this year, after Super Dungeon Explore.

Yup. Lovely model. Few visible printlines. A *little* grany texture but that is really not of importance. It is a bit light on the gamin board so I weighed mine down with lead sheet and some lead shot. The turret hatch is not open so thats me fucking with the model.

Soon after I ordered this just before fitz released the one with the Indian pattern turret, which is the one I really would have liked. :?

Really taken with the Native - Is that cricket back on his back? (odd question I know) He reminds me of a character in comic used to read as a kid (think it may have been the Victor) where 2 blokes in NWF one of which was a native whose preferred weapon was a cricket bat. Can't remember the name
