Title: New show: CONflikt 2017 near Cologne 27. - 28. May 2017

The WARDOGS, a group of german gamers, have announced a new show in Langenfeld, a town between Cologne and Duesseldorf in May 2017. Five years after the last "Action"-Show in Rheindahlen it should be time for a nice event in the heart of the Rhineland.

The "Team for Historical Simulations" (THS) will support the new show with an AWI-game and table in our well known quality, using the german ruleset "Kugelhagel".

Already looking forward to it.!
Because "Action" in Rheindalen was quite small with few traders is was perfect for gaming marathons and with cheap sleeping arrangments in the barracks (or under the gaming table) you could have "Fish n Chips" a few beers and game late into the night.
I am curious to see what possibilities this con will have.

As we are coming closer to the event, I just wanted to quickly mention that I met the organizers of CONflict at the Szenario Con last weekend (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=97146.msg1203183#msg1203183 (http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=97146.msg1203183#msg1203183)). It looks like they are putting a lot of effort into CONflict and I am confident that this is going to be a little jewel amongst wargaming events.
They also presented a table with a prepared scenario last weekend and it looked absolutely stunning!

I am certainly pumped for CONflict! :)

I loved the ACTION as well and it was a fantastic British event on German ground. Year by Year I traveled from Bavaria to this show and as I moved to North-Rhine Westphalia the barracks were closed and the show died.
It's time now to raise the phoenix from the ashes again, with a new event and not really as a replacement. What we can't offer, for example are free sleeping arrangements, a full British breakfast and......
What we will create or do is a show from hobby enthusiast to other hobby fanatics and we are still hoping to get this done.

It was a completely successful premiere and finally a wargames show in the Rhineland again!
