Here another Solo Game I played today. It could be considered a prologue of the campaign I'm playing.
As usual I will include more turns of play for each new post.
The WAR of the Gods

Scenario Background:
33X BC. Somewhere in the deep jungles of central Africa.
With deep sadness, the Queen looked to the ruins of her temple, built as a symbol of hope for a bright future, destroyed many years ago at the beginning of the war.
The ruins represented her failure, the inability to conclude the peace negotiations that could avoid the long years of bloody battles.
If only she was less arrogant or the God-King was less proud... all this carnage could be spared to their people...
But now it was too late for regrets... the last battle was about to begin... probably it would have marked the end of both races...
Asteria, her mighty bodyguard approached the Queen:
"My Queen, the Lacedaemons are advancing, the time of battle is near..."
The Queen looked in the valley, her troops were all around her. The human amazons awaiting orders, while her few venusian sisters and the monstrous Gort were ready to protect her.
How many of them will die today? She asked to herself...
This was the last battle, after years of massacres both the peoples were reduced to few thousands, most of their cities destroyed, almost all of the continent ruined...
Who cared if she could win this battle? They had already both lost...
"So be it... everthing will end today, This is the only certainty..."

The Laecadaemons are the attackers then have the initiative.
The Themyscirans are the defenders, then the Terror and Queen Guards are deployed about 6" from the Queen (major plot point)

1 TURN
The Laecedaemons advance.

The Martian Hippeus, Spartiati and the mighty drone move and shoot to the monstrous Gort.
The combined fire is impressive, but Gort barely feel damage, he receive only one wound.
Gort: "GGGGGGGGGgggooooooooooooRrrrrRRrrrRRtttttt!!" he roars in a defiant gesture
Meanwhile the Perioeci ran, eager to engage the hated human amazons...

The Perioeci Commander and his retinue move to the minor plot point relic, the commander try to win the challange, but fail and a bobby trap injure him.
Perioeci Commander: "Treacherous Amazons! A Trap! They have no honor!"

The God-King move and win without difficulty the minor plot point altar of skulls.
Areus: "The first booty of the day... Soon more skulls will adorn this altar..."

The human amazons advance. Their High Priestess easly gain the relic inside the small Greek Temple.
Agave: "Too easy, but now the real challange is coming..."
The Amazons skirmishers move and throw their javelins to the nearest perioeci oplites, however the oplites raise their shields and survive the attack.

Gort and the Venusian Guards don't move, they stoically wait, ready to protect their queen.
Some few shots are done, but they fail to injure the enemy...
Captain Asteria: "Don't move sisters, let the enemy come to us... but not too near to our beloved Queen..."

2 TURN
The Themyscirans have the initiative. The Perioeci Guard with standard afinally join the Laecadaemons forces.
Gort is angry, he move and throw a big rock to the group of martians, four of them are down, and one will be KO in the next turn.
Gort: "GGGGGGGGGGGGGGGGooort Angryyyyyyy!!! GoooOooort Cruuushes stupid little guysss!!"

The Queen Guards open fire to the two martians that avoid the rock, but fail to do some damage while them do a single wound to one of the guards.

The High Priestess move and hit the Perioeci Commander with a psychic bolt, she injured him.
Agape: "You loathsome little daub! How you dare to steal our sacred relic? You will pay for you sacrilege with you life!"

The Amazon Skirmishers move and throw their javelins to the Perioeci Oplites, they suffer from the attack and will be finished from the amazon guards.
The human amazons begin their attack. After a fierce fighting and the counterattack of the Laecedaemons, a Perioeci Oplites gang and the Amazon Guards are defeated, the Perioeic Captain is injured and Cleta is down (but will recover). 4 of the Perioci Oplites of the last gang are defeated too, but a lone oplite resist and continue the fight against Captain Antadra.
Captain Antadra: "You are a valiant little warrior..."

A powerful beam from the Martian Drone and Gort receive another wound.
Meanwhile, the Perioeci Commander survive to the psychic bolt and finally gain the relic.
Perioci Commander "You failed to stop me, Themysciran witch!"

3 TURN
The brutal fight between the human amazons and the perioeci continue.
The Hight Priestess and God-King join the fight themselves.
Captain Antadra easly defeat the lone perioeci oplite.
Antadra: "You were a brave warrior, but you could not win..."
Liliana defeat the Perioeci Guard with Standard, but he will recover in the next turn.
However Cleta (the lioness girl) is defeated (and wil not recover) while the High Priestess is injured.
God-King Areus: "Your faith in your false goddess will not protect you, woman..."
The amazons skirmishers don't dare to charge, and throw their javelins to the nearest martian hippeus. They hit him and he is KO.

The mighty Martian Drone move, ignoring the Crocodile (perilious area) and open fire.
The martians join the fire and Gort is down, and will not recover.
With an owl of pain the huge monster falls: "Goooortttt feeeel baAaaaaddddd..."

The Themysciran Guards are worried, the most powerful defender of the Queen is defeated.
Now only them should protect their queen from the unrestrainable Martian Drone.
Their shots don't affect the Martian Drone.
Captain Asteria: "Prepare yourself, sisters... maybe today we should sacrifice our lives for the salvation of our beloved queen... Long live the Queen!"
with one voice the guards shout "Long live the Queen!"

4 TURN
The fight for the bridge has its epilogue: The High Priestess and Liliana are defetead.
The Captain of Perioeci Guard and his Guard are down too, but the Captain will recover in the next turn.
The God-King and the Guard with Standard don't waste their time anymore and ran to the ruins of the Greek Temple.
God-King: "This clash is useless! The Queen is our real target! Follow me brothers!"

Captain Antadra chases the running guard with standard and charge him.
Antadra: "The Laecedaemons advance is threatening the life of our Goddess! We must stop them!"
However she fail to defeat the Perioeci Guard and take a wound.
The amazon Skirmishers follow her and hit the Perioeci Commander, injuring him, but suffer from some good hits done from the martians.
At least the lone Martian Spartiati is defeated too.

Meanwhile the Martian Drone and martian riflemen open fire to the Queen's Guards.
All the guards except one are down! Only one will recover in the next turn.
Captain Asteria: "My Queen... Forgive me, I failed to protect you..."
However the Martian Drone suffer several damages from their last shots and receive three wounds.

The lone Guard of the Queen with a battle cry charge the God-King.
Climene: "I will avenge my captain and sisters stopping you now and taking your head!"
the fight end without a winner, but at least the proud guard stopped the advance of the God-King,
saving some time and hope to the incoming amazon reinforcements.
God-King "How you dare to challange me? You are a brave but desperate warrior... You will receive the greatest honor, to be defeated from a King..."

Really digging your report!
Question. What kind of camera did you use to take your pictures, and, what sort of lighting did you have when you took them? Your pictures have a crisper look than those that I take of my games.

It was a nice Solo Game, I enjoyed it ;)
I use a Panasonic DMC-FZ48 digital camera with the IA option (auto intelligent).
For the lighting I simple use a normal led desk lamp really near the board, then I move the lamp to give better lighting when I need for each photo.

I really love your miniature choices..
I was eyeing that Alien queen and soldiers at Reaper pages for ages and was persuading myself - you wont play them ever) - but now I am not so sure..

Thanks to Pulp Alley I could play with all the miniatures I want, and alone with solo games if there aren't players available too ;)
I can build the leagues I want, without strict rules or backgrounds that limit my choices. I create the backgrounds and factions I need myself. ;)
5 TURN
The Perioeci Captain win the challenge and take the relic lost from the defeated High Priestess.
Perioeci Captain: "Poor human woman... Sure, you will not need your booty anymore..."

The Martian Hippeus finish the last Amazon Skirmishers with their shots while the Martian Drone defeat the Queen's Amazon with Rifle.

The Perioeci Commander is free to ran toward the Goddess-Queen. The Queen is in serious peril!
Perioeci Commander "Your weak reign is over my Queen... Surrender to the mighty forces of the God-King or you will pay the consequences..."
Goddess-Queen: "I do not respond to the rude threats of a servile underling... I'm Talestri, Queen of Themyscira and Empress of Venus and you are only a submartian minion!"

The Perioeci Guard with standard lost his fight against Captain Antadra he is down but will recover in the next turn.
However Antadra is free, and could charge the God-King, joining her venusian sister.
Captain Antadra: "God-King! You will pay for the blood shed from our sisters!"
Climene: "Well said little sister! Did you heard us? You will not pass until we are still standing to fight!"
God-King: "Then you will fall!"
Either the Themysciran warriors fight well, but Antadra is down, while Climene is wounded.
However they injure the God-King and he could not free himself from the fight.

6 TURN
The fierce fight between the God-King and the two valiant Themyscirans continue.
However the God-King is too strong and the amazons are defeated.
God-King: "You were valiant warriors, loyal until the end to your Queen. Honor to the Fallen!"

The last Queen's Guard charge the Perioeci Commander.
Derinoe: "You will not lay your filthy hands on our queen!"
The Perioeci with standard charge Derinoe too, but the fight is useless.
The mighty Martian Drone move and capture the queen.
The battle is over and the Themyscirans have lost.

God-King Areus "Talestri, your brave warriors fought well, but you could not win this last battle. Now the long war is finally over and I'm the winner!"
Goddess-Queen Talestri "Winner? There is no winner today... we both lost when the war beginned... look around yourself, all our fallen and the hundreds of thousands before them... Call you this victory?"
looking around him and finally aware of the carnage of the battle, Areus hesitated.
Areus: "Maybe you could be right, my Queen, but now it is too late to remedy our mistakes..."
Talestri: "It's never too late for peace, my King..."
Areus: "So be it, sit with me my Queen, it's time to speak..."
and that day, the Themyscirans and Laecedamones signed an uneasy peace.
It was called "the Treaty of the Fallen Gods", some of the most important articles were about the limitation of technologically advanced weapons and the insulation of both people, to avoid interference with the outside human civilizations... Both Talestri and Areus know well that if they continue with the war, they could destroy this world, as yet their ancestors done with their home planets... this Treaty helped to keep the peace for thousands of years... until the XX century...

The next pulp game I will play will be again in 193X, with the Bakers and their foes wander into the jungle toward Themyscira...
