Thanks chaps, the next eight are underway and I'll do some big group shots for the next post. Lovely figures, from a painting point of view they are very Perryesque to paint ( I'm sure you know what I mean) :)

Thanks for the kind comments chaps, I do find the little electronic pats on the back that you give do help me to get motivated ( shallow git that I am lol)
Anyway here's another eight done as promised, all in nice red jackets.
The natural poses and anatomy on these figures really is superb and as good as the best out there, hope I've done them justice.
-
And the 16 figures all together. Have a look at the close ups on the bottom of page 1 and let me know what you think.
-
You've done a masterful job on them. :-*
I'm almost tempted to dive in seeing what you have done with them. (I'm not though!) ;)

I've always fancied doing the Indian Mutiny, especially after reading Flashman in the Great Game, and now SP2 is out . . . :)

Ordered some of those last week, and your painting has made me even more anxious to get them and start painting.

Thanks for the kind comments and taking the time to post guys, it's much appreciated :)

Really impressive and inspiring - thank you for sharing!!!
PS - what's the "recipe" for your bases? They set the figures off beautifully.

I for one would love to see this range and the Indian Mutiny in general get the LAF treatment from you lot :)

First off paint the bases Horse tone Roan.
Then a heavyish highlight of 50% Horse tone Dun and 50% White.
Then a light drybrushing of the same mix with more white added.
All the paints used on the bases are from Coat de Armes paints
Vegetation comes from Tajimal Miniatures.
Hope that helps Sparrow :)

And Bibbly's next project will be building the Taj Mahal brick by brick.
He just might crack with that one.
