Title: true 25mm ww2 metal figures ?
Post by: sundayhero on June 21, 2016, 10:56:32 PM
Hi,

I'm wondering if there is any metal figures available in true 25mm scale (25mm from feet to top of the head) ?

EDIT : I found infos about "battle honours miniatures" 25mm products, if anyone have some, I'd be interested to have infos on them ;)

thanks

My first thought was Battle Honours are so small, they may be true 25mm and Valiant Miniatures (plastic are so large, they may be true 25mm  BUT, I don't own any so, I don't know.

You read in my mind, I had the exact same thought ;)

I already bought the valiant minis, wich are GREAT sculpts, and great plastic figures, with deep details (I'll post soon).

But they don't do russians, so I'm searching for an alternative for the eastern front.  8)

I'll try to contact the battle honours owners, in the mean time if someone have pics of them, it would be kind to share ! thanks !

thanks,

The more I think of it, the more I'm thinking that I should sculpt a few russians by myself  lol

After all, russian army doesn't need the variety we find in german army, for instance. Correct me if I'm wrong, but a gymnastiorka uniform should be OK from 42 to the end of the war, so I would barely need  3 or 4 riflemen poses, 3 or 4 PPSH poses, a few heads with cap and helmet, and a few hq figures. Nothing I'm not able to do.

The only thing missing : SPARE TIME  lol

By the way, the pak40 italeri set will be an easy mix with valiant germans, I'll post pics as soon as possible. I still don't have hobby time these days, even if I received a LOT of new stuff to build and paint  ::)
