Over the last couple of weeks my average views per month have jumped from between 8000 - 10000 views to 30000 a month
The bulk seem to be coming from the following site - can anyone help me stop this intrusion?

Don't think there's much you can do. I wouldn't click on these sources from your stat page as that may increase the number of visits from the site and others. Normally it stops after a while have experienced some spikes from similar websites on my blog but neglible in number of views looking at my total traffic amount.

I've not kept much of an eye on my blog for quite some time but have noticed spikes in traffic from certain sites over the years. It's largely a mystery to me. Although I did once get a lot of traffic from a sex dating site which turned out to be the result of me using the 'charm of making' from Excalibur in one of my post titles. lol

Semalt is a right bloody nuisance. It's apparently a network affiliated with some dubious Ukrainian SEO outfit trying to generate traffic to their own sites (or worse) and is known for skewing up ratings (it's a right mess filtering them from our company's statistics).
Here's a tutorial on how to block it in Wordpress. It is a bit involved and I do not know if it is applicable to blogger, but it might be a starting point.

Thanks for the advice.
