Played with them for the first time tonight.

Spectre (Heavy Foot (4), Wizardling (2), No Feelings) 6pts
Skeleton Giant (Greater Warbeast (6) Fear (2), No Feelings) 8
3 x Skeletons (Bellicose Foot, 4 pts, No Feelings) 12
Skeleton Archers (Light Missiles, 4pts, No Feelings)  4

No feelings is a mixed blessing.  Not getting battered is really useful, but rounding up the hits on armour is a real pain.

Very nice, I'm also contemplating an undead force for Dragon Rampant so a great inspiration!

I also like the basing, 4 or 6 models together on a skirmish base.

Fantastic looking army.  What makes are the figures?

I like the 6 models loosely grouped on the bases idea.

Did you make the larger bases or buy them?

Another visit to my cupboards, a bit of rebasing and some matt varnish gives me this 32 point Chaos force.

I love the giant skellie.  He looks maniacally happy.

To be honest, with that many bases, I'd start looking at dedicated mass battle rules. :D But it's all very impressive, all the same. I like those wizards and their bodyguards!

Derek, is it ok if I post a couple of pictures of your armies to my Gaming Club facebook group? I'd like to show the variation in size that can be achieved with Dragon Rampant and your stuff is pretty neat looking to boot!  :D

I intend to play games with 2 players a side each with a 30 points force and I like having a choice.    :)

I've never found a set of mass battle fantasy rules I got on with, but I'm loving Dragon Rampant.

Chaos force expanded - now featuring Bob the Balrog.  Lots of pre-painted miniatures bought cheap when the games were discontinued.

I really like the Balrog.  He's huge, 7" tall and 10" wide, and all I needed to do to make him usable was rebase him - the painting is as he came out the box.  Not bad for £10.
