Hi everyone, I'm one of those guys that drift on the forums and never end up registering and giving an input, so sorry about that.
Anyway I've started a blog to hopefully help me actually finish projocts and my first entry is Tarleton's British Legion Infantry, here is the link.

EDIT: I've added pictures

As you'll notice there is a slight shine to the figures and I'm not sure if its the camera or lack of a matt varnish so any advice would be very welcome.
Thanks

Look great ,well done.

Very nice!

Very nice, if you are using the army painter wash then the shine is definitely because you have not matt varnished. Doesn't mean you need to by the way. I prefer my figures to have a light shine rather than flat matt.

You don't need photobucket to add the images from your blog, just copy the image address and then insert it between the image tags

You will find something like /s320/ or /s1600/ in the address string - this is the size of the picture I normally use s800 for forum posts

Very nice. And welcome!

Thanks guys, and thank you Fire-at-Will.
I've used Vallejo Matt Acrylic Varnish. They seem to have less shine but I haven't taken pictures again.
