Hi
Finished these guys this week. Had the week off so was able to get some painting in without having to be interrupted by that annoying thing called 'work'.
Very nice castings and easy to paint despite all the lace.

I wouldn't mind more to be honest. Must find some references to other units in same uniform (or similar).
Next up though is a battalion of Walloon Guards.

Hi Brian,
As ever a great fan of your work and really should get some of these for my Spanish army currently with no light infantry at all!
I've always hesitated about the Front Rank ones thought 'cos they're built like chaps from Siberia rather than folk from the arid plains of Spain.
Now, you mention in you blog that Connoisseur do some slimmer fellows so I shall have to investigate those, as, like you my Peninsula armies are pretty much all Elite.
Many thanks for posting.
Cheers,
Paul

There is a link in my post to Carlo's site with some pics of a 24 figure unit of these chaps in close order using 23 infantrymen and an officer. Still looks pretty good despite the sameness of the figures.

Something else to consider for I get around to doing a Peninsular force for Sharp Practise. Very nice.
