Title: Haunted Church
Post by: tomcat51 on July 26, 2016, 05:08:38 PM
I needed a centrepiece for my Investigators to fight amongst for a Lovecraftian inspired Pulp Alley game I'm planning. Here is a WIP of what I've knocked together. Hoping to have it finished this week. Renedra weather board church and fence, a Fenris Games base as a summoning circle and some gravestones and tentacles from a discontinued manufacturer. Sorry the pictures aren't great, I only have a phone camera.

That looks great!  The Innsmouth Church is the last building I need for my Pulp/Innsmouth board!

Inspired!

Thank you. Most of my hobby is planning, with little execution. Getting my gaming buddies together is like herding cats. I might just take some pictures and say they are of a game, pretend i had loads of fun.

Wow! Fantastic work. Who doesn't love tentacles coming out of graves?  :-*

I hope we get to see more.   ;)

Richard Jeperson, psychic investigator for the Diogenes Club, explores an abandoned church in the New England backwoods, unaware that he is being hunted...

The green glowing orbs are meant to be a glowing fungus. Not sure if it works.

Nice work, and very inspirational.
 8) 8)

I have had that church sitting in my cupboard for ages with the intent of using it my Old West town.
As that town already has a church I was thinking of transferring it to Foulmouth (my 'English' Innsmouth setting) and this is tipping me ever closer to actually doing so.
Thanks.
 :D

Thanks for the kind words. It turned out better than is usual for my efforts, but still short of what was in my minds eye. I'm going to see if I can get a proper camera and take some decent shots. Never saw the need for a proper camera, but seeing some of the photos people take on this site has spurred me on to raise my game.

Very nice. Is the fungus greenstuff or made from something else?

You wouldn't want to, it's witch ridden.
