What did you use for the umbrella lady?

What did you use for the umbrella lady?
Very simple : it s a decorative nail.
No more, no less. The nail comes with decorated head. Just glue it in the lady s hand. Then a paint job do the trick !

Merci beaucoup et la femme lui-meme? Elle va de Matakishi? Pardon my execrable Francais.

She is a Foundry one from their Greek Mythology range, it's Hera godness. i drill the nail into her sceptre and hand....
To make the umbrella biger than it was. I drill a hole into a flat 28mm shield and put it into the nail's head.
That's giving the fringe effect on the umbrella's side.
i use this kind of nails like cheap shield too, like here on my amazones :

Finally finished painting the minis. Not the best of sculpts but great value for money and once painted looks good.

Those do look good, Jack. Good job! You are right that the sculpts are a little chunky, I've got a set, too. But as you say, the price is right and I'll use mine as fillers in a market place, etc., and they're just perfect for that.
-
Good job on those.
I think we can all agree they're cheap and cheerful sculpts :)
