Title: (AP 2016) Army of Harad - Updated 31/12/16

Little late to the party but will be painting and Army of Harad.  I need the army for my long term project of the Siege of Minas Tirith so will give me the motivation to get it done.

The army to consist of

Suladan on Horse
55 Haradrim Raiders
5 Mounted Serpent Guards
35 Haradrim Warriors (Inc command and probably some Serpent Guard on foot)
2 Mumakil (I need 3 for my siege project but I have one already painted)
25 Far Harad Warriors


Better get sorting out what figures I have  o_o

So have been busy building the raiders.  Keep changing my mind as to whether to paint the horses separate all with the riders on.  Will do a test and see how I get on

Painted up my first unit of six Raiders.  I think i may give them a army painter soft tone wash before I varnish them.

Also started work on the two Mumaks as I want their heads in a different position to the one I have already painted.

Will be following this - incidentally, I also have 3 Mūmakil (one NIB, 2 second-hand partially built) to do at some point, so am interested to see how yours turn out!

Painted up a Mithril Miniatures Mumak for something different but on the same lines.

Thanks, after years of messing about I have finally got the mind set of if I'm happy with the painting and I am getting enough done that fine with me. :D

I have got one really well with the Haradrim Raiders and now have all 54 of the plastic ones painted up.  I still have the Serpent Riders and Chieftains to paint but will paint some foot soldiers first.

Thanks All.  I have now finished the Harad Troopers. I noticed I had missed some gems on the last lots armour which I have now painted.  Some of these are also to go onto a Mumak. I have some command to do them on to the next lot

I have managed to sort out what colours I want the Far Harad troops and painted 3 with lots more on the painting table

I have also finished adding the bit I wanted to the Mumakil ready to be undercoated
