Title: Pocket Quest.
Post by: Stroezie on August 29, 2016, 08:46:29 AM
Started painting my Pocket Quest miniatures. They are all from Perfect six miniatures and are great 6mm figures full of character and easy to paint.

lets start with the heroes shall we

And the first of the orcs

My pictures really don't do these figures any justice, the glare blots out a lot of the details but I only have my phone camera at the moment so they'll have to do.

I also managed to finish another Grell sculpt, this time it's a Grell mage with a dragon claw staff which came out a little bit larger than I intended but it still looks good imo.

That's it for now, more orcs, a troll, rock golem and maybe a few more new sculpts to follow soon (I hope)

Cheers,
Stroezie.

This project continues to blow my mind.  That's a lot of character in such a small package.

Could you tell me anything about the rules?
How long are they? How complex?

It does look fun.

I found the rules to be simple enough to make solo/convention gaming easy but with just enough depth to keep things interesting in the long run.
It took me about half an hour to stat out my 4 adventurers and after the first few rounds play went pretty smoothly.
The rules are still  a bit of a diamond in the rough at the moment though with a few small bits and bobs that still need to be ironed out.
That being said the main rules are solid and the writer is great about answering any questions you might have. There's also a pdf update of the rules which they'll send you if you have an earlier copy of the game.

I finished the rest of the figures.

Here's a pic of all the orcs together

and the Rock Golem and Troll( with barbarian for size)

And to complete the collection a pic of the swarms mounted on the bases that came with the game.

The stirges were made by myself and are not included in the game.

And lastly a pic of all the other monsters I made myself
