Picked up the whole Brewers team for Guild ball as they are too cool not to. Painted them in one of the Clan MacDonald tartans. Need to keep it in the family lol
Couple more of the smaller figures on the table now :)

Nicely done :)

Wonderful brushwork!
Gotta love that tartan.
:-* :-*
No idea what this game is all about but there are certainly some characterful figures in the range.

What size are these figures?

These two are huge mate. Probably about 50mm.

Cheers guys. Ive not played the game but I'll be playing it in the next few weeks. Gives me time to finish my team.
-
Fantastic mate! :o Is that the proper tartan and everything?
-
Just slightly less red as didn't want it to be too much. I'd never have got the red line thin enough for them not to over power the rest.
To be honest the colours on the tartan never stood out as much as i hoped but I'm going to try something different on the other Brewers.

They will also be all wearing a blue bonnet instead of doing it in tartan. A Scot has to wear a blue bonnet :)

Seems like you could crib some the Hordes trollkin figs for proxies/variants in this team if you wanted. Several of them have jegs or mugs sculpted on, and I know I've seen at least one Dire Troll Bomber converted to have kegs of beer rather than gunpowder.

Two more additions to the team. I will get a game of this one day lol

I preordered the 2 player starker Kick Off set and was trying to figure out which 12 characters it comes with so I could get the others. So far this is what I have.

Is this correct?

The tartans on your figures really elevate the models and play well with the decisions the sculptor made for dressing them. I am very curious about this game. Someone gave me a starter because they don't want to play but if it is an enjoyable game I want to pick up the kickoff set and see if I can convince someone else to play with me.

Those are lovely! Hat off to you for the tartan ( I painted some 42nd Highlanders and I thought they were challenging!!!).
I also don't know anything about the game but the minis certainly look interesting.

What the hell! I put in the order so Kickoff is inbound. If nothing else I'll have some nice looking models to paint and hopefully be able to give them a treatment as nice as yours :) .

Have you been able to play yet? I picked up Kick Off myself and am working at a squad of Brewers myself. I actually like the look of the Fishermen better so I have been flipping between the two teams but I still want the starters done so I can share the game with friends. It is one of the signs of the apocalypse if I get my models painted before other people get around to actually playing games so unless you want to edge the doom clock forward a review could save us all lol .
