Can you guys point me at the best places to get good looking ones on the net? I know about Reviresco, and am having trouble finding other stuff. I need a couple of naval mount small guns, and one or two big ones - as well as a dummy cannon or two (though I may use a spare battle cannon from a GW tank kit I scavenged some years ago for that). They are to go on the current project I am working on. ( http://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=9346.0 ) Other fitting won't be an issue - I have a great hobby store nearby - but they don't seem to carry late 19th or early 20th stuff.

London War Room and Old Glory do some:

The London War Room do a good range of ship-mounted guns, however ther appears to be a problem withtheir website (a pity, since I could do with some more guns).
If you are doing American vessels it mmight also be worth looking at Tiger Miniatures, who sell a pack of US Marines crewing a deck-mounted gatling gun.
Also look at ACW ranges for artillery on garrison mounts.

It is true, the naval fittings section is poor with VSF /late 19th c. stuff. To my knowledge the only fittings available specifically for this era is the ones already mentioned [london room, old glory and eureka]
The only close alternative I found is a couple of guns produced by Sirmar models and listed in their site. In their lists of WWII weapons there are a couple of guns of WWI vintage. some other fittings and guns might fit the lot.
