Here at Sally 4th, we have been eagerly awaiting this fantastic new release for many months.
We have the Campaign Book and Campaign Deck on our web site and are taking pre-orders now.

We have also put three deals together, a bundle that includes the Campaign Deck and Campaign book at 10% pre-order discount, and two deals that include supporting Terra-Block terrain kits.

The first terrain deal contains Tomb of the Serpent Campaign Book, Campaign Deck and the Terra-Block Tomb of the Serpent scenery set, that might be useful for some of the scenario's in the book.

The second terrain deal contains all of the above plus the Terra-Block Fothrington Hall set that might come in handy for the Haunted House scenario.

I assume a pdf option will follow ? BTW - is the deck essential for using the book ?

Yes, we should have the pdf version available by 13th Oct.

Buying the premium deck is not essential. All of the cards are printed inside the book, so you can easily reference them there or copy those pages and make your own cards.

BTW -- the pdf version will also includes all the cards.

THANKS to everyone for the encouraging comments. This book took longer than the last few, but I really think you'll love it!  ;)

If I buy the Tomb of the Serpent campaign deck from Sally 4th, do I get a printed copy of the expansion or do I get the PDF or both?

Whatever Pulp Alley product you buy from us (Sally 4th), you will get the same product as if you brought it from Pulp Alley direct. The campaign deck is a physical product. My understanding is that the pdf products are separate purchase, how ever if any products have free downloads they will also be available when you buy from us. For example, when you buy the solo deck from us you get the free download of the preview solo rules.

Thanks for confirming Chris.

Think I'll pre order the campaign deck from you and wait for the pdf to become available. As much as I like having professionally printed rules, the ability to have a rules set on my tablet appeals more!

Question: is this book required to use the solo rules and solo deck, or can I get the rules for using those somewhere else?

The book is not required for using the Solo Deck.

Yes, you can use the Solo Deck with this book but it is not required.

HAVE FUN

Very exciting... a big box has just arrived full of Tomb of the Serpent books and cards for UK & European customers.
If you've pre-ordered with us already, your goodies have been picked and allocated to you and will now just be waiting until the release date (13th October).

I've had a quick look through the book and cards. Well done David & Mila, every supplement you have published has raised the bar, and this looks like the best to date. An exciting campaign plus the full rules for Solo decks and horror decks all in one place!

If you have not ordered yet and would like to take a look around our Pulp Alley store, which we spent yesterday re-arranging to deal with so many new products, it is at: http://wargamesbuildings.co.uk/Pulp-Alley-Gaming-Accessories (http://wargamesbuildings.co.uk/Pulp-Alley-Gaming-Accessories)

Now that's just cruel...  lol

It's a double edged sword to be sure, if you've pre-ordered in good time, you know that you are guaranteed to get the goodies on the release date, but it is a pain waiting. I backed the Conan Miniatures/Board Game a couple of years ago on Kickstarter and am still waiting for the game to be dispatched. That is torture, but at the end of the day is unlikely to be any where near as much fun as Pulp Alley!

A BIG thanks to everyone involved with making this our best Pulp Alley book ever!  :-*

And a very special thanks to LAF's own Fram Framson for the beautiful illustrations he provided for this project! Here are just a few samples of his artistry......

Does Tomb of the Serpent need any other books than the rules to play?

Post by: Chris Abbey on October 10, 2016, 02:05:39 PM
No, you just need the Rulebook and the Tomb of the Serpent campaign book.

GREAT campaign book!

And can be very easily translated for any other pulp ruleset. Great value!

Dave, and Mila!, may I ask for some customized card backs for horror cards and solo cards? :D

Ciao!

Well, I thought it would probably be better to have a consistent back for when we eventually decide to add some more cards. And we are already testing about a dozen new ones.

But I have to ask... what did you have in mind?  lol lol

Dave,

nothing fancy! lol

Instead of "FORTUNE"; "HORROR" or "SOLO"... what a surprise, yes??? lol lol

Marco

PS The pdf version of these cards has a smaller dimension than the PA original pdf cards...  ???
