Title: Need A Little Inspiration For Making Your Cork Ruins?
Post by: Cacique Caribe on September 27, 2016, 07:45:10 PM
Giuseppe Fiorelli, the archeologist who more than a hundred years ago conducted one of the first large scale excavations of the ruins of Pompeii, also built up a 1/100 scale model of the ruins as they were being uncovered.

His model still exists at the Museum of Naples, Italy:

I hope this inspires those of you planning to make ruins.

That is spectacular!  It's at 15mm scale so I think I'll ask if I can use it for a weekend game.  Imagine the skirmish, hide-and-seek type game you play on that table!  Thanks for sharing. :-*

You won't be able to reach most of the table, though. No matter how hard you stretch.
