Hello!
My last work - Philistine warrior, 28mm.
-
For a moment there, I thought I was looking at a Chef with demonic aspirations. lol
But all kidding aside; that's some excellent sculpting, sir!
I'm not quite at home in that period, so I cannot comment on the accuracy of his kit or even his weapon, but it does convey the feel of the era to me, so that's good.
The laminated armour is great and the face is top knotch!
Is he part of a series/army/project/regiment, or a one-off?
-
That's a lovely clean piece of sculpting. I hope you mean that it is your latest work, and that it isn't actually lost.
-
Daeothar, thank you! Its commission work. I still do not know, whether the client would like to continue this series.
-
Steve F, thank you! You right - it's my mistake.

WIP – Byzantine army warlord on SAGA, 10 century.

One more step and all be done.

That is a very nice sculpt.

Those are some very nice sculpts. I checked out your facebook page but was not able to find out about the commission work you offer. If I have something in mind, do I just send you a PM? How much do you normally charge for a miniature like the Philistine warrior (similar detailing)?
-
Thank you gents!
-
Complete figure. I used a Byzantine ivory casket from 10 century for referencing purposes.

I love very well your mounted Byzantine soldier. He look like than all soldiers on the baroque's tapisseries we could see on old fashioned tappisseries, like those from the "manufacture des gobelins" product in the 17ème century.
I find that great.
-
You are a dab hand at sculpting, mate. Do you do commissions?
-
Thank you all!
Yes i accept commission.

Hello!
Commission work - ancient greek strategos, 28 mm.
-
Are you able to say for whom the strategos was done? That's a lovely figure, and I can see several roles he could play beyond ancient Greece.

SBRPearce, this sculpture for private person. His blog: http://awiblackpowder.blogspot.ru/
