Not sure what happened, they appeared fine when I posted them. Edited my first post to remove the problem links.

These look excellent! Besides cape wars, could these chaps be used for anywhere else aswell?

The accompanying notes mention they're also suitable for New Zealand and first Afghan War. Don't know about other campaigns of the 1840-50s, such as the Opium Wars?

With a little paint and or green stuff, they would be good for Scinde, scene of the world's undisputed best pun.*

please and advice from experst on British Army..that headgear is it the same usede by British officers and also men during the Zulu War ecc?....in this case , i would maybe buy those Perry figures as i already own some Xhosas,...and sacrifice one head (cutting it and replacing with a bare bandaged one) and use it on a AZW British officer or a driver for more variety

Italwars,

Not EXACTLY the same peaked caps, but close enough that if you only wanted to use a couple of them, I think you could make them work very well.  They should probably have their height sanded down a bit so they're not as high, but they might be able to pass as 1870s-1880s "forage caps" as is.  If you did sand or otherwise trim them down, you might want to slice off the little "pom-pom"/button on the top, and then glue it back on in the same spot -- but I freely admit that's a lot of effort that only obsessive/compulsive button-counter types (of which I am one!) would fret over!

I'd hold off as the Perrys are planning on doing AZW troops at some point.

Italwars,

thanks for your kind and accurate explanation Mad Guru...your definition "obsessive button-counter type" is fantastic  ;) :D...i try to think about myself that i do not belong, as concern our hobby, to this category that touch the "nerd" definiton...but in fact the evidence suggest that i fully deserve the definition.... :)
thanks again

My pleasure, glad to be of assistance!

Apologies for slightly derailing the original topic of this thread, but I just realized Empress already make at least 2 officers wearing the cap I think you're looking for...
