Post by: Menelduir on October 17, 2016, 06:12:39 AM
We found ourselves at loose ends one night and quickly threw together this Pulp Alley 'Gothic Horror' game. Hope you enjoy!

Let me know if the pics are too dark, I will adjust, but it is 1:11am my eyes are not working well, & I work in the morning. :)

I love the campiness of the rag tag mix of classic monsters running through pumpkin patches and corn fields, terrorizing the locals. The Renaissance monster slayer is the cherry on top. It's a mix of horror and silliness that just screams Halloween.

Where's that Frankenstein's monster model from, by the way? I don't recognize it.

Nice game and a great way to have an All-Star monster mash.

I think the Frankenstein's monster is from Blue Moon, which is available from Old Glory 25s.

All you needed was Abbott and Costello.

What are those fields made out of, by the way? It's like moss, and it looks amazing.

Yes Frankie is from Blue Moon, all four classic monsters were from them. (you can tell by the bases, they usually have a scenic' aspect, like Dracula)

The fields were from a craft store (Michaels) they are made by a company called Lemax and are for Halloween displays. They are 18" by maybe 36". They tend to flake off easily so I tried to seal them with watered down white glue and dullcoat. So far it is working. Got it this year at 60% off, so nice deal! I bought 2 more to cut up into smaller sections.

Oh and I do have figures I plan to use for A & C but they are in safari clothing, so they will meet The Mummy alone some time soon.

Thank you for the great rules!!!!

We have yet to have a bad experience with this game, and have so far been unable to break the system, and believe some of my players have tried. >:(

We have now complete The Perilous Island campaign (15-20 games, lost track) and at least 10 more unrelated games.

Never had this level of engagement from my players for any table top game.

That's awesome!

As a younger man, I somehow managed to buy/collect many rules that "looked" good but never delivered when it came to playing. So it was very important that Pulp Alley was truly designed to be played and played a lot.  ;)

HAVE FUN
