We are very pleased to re-open our store and to release a complete new range of 15mm Sci-Fi aliens, the Tah-sig Empire. These are the first aliens to be available in our very popular "Zantin Reconquest" range.
The Zantins are high-tech, non-humanoid aliens and enough models have been made for the gamer to field forces up to company level. There's also a platoon deal available. They are available now (they're at the bottom of the page):

Great. ::). There goes goes my buying plans for 2017-2020 right down the drain. lol
Seriously, I now have a buying dilemma for 2017+ with these figures being available...
I am on a hold for new figures through New Year's Day so I have time to restructure my buying plan.

These look great.
For some reason i see Badgers in space.Might just be the colours used but they do look cool.
-
These look cool to me too.
I realise they are 15mm figs but how big are they compared to a 15mm humanoid?
Could they pass as small creatures at 28mm scale?
Thanks.

These are cool - I was looking forward to the maggot guys you previewed though, they inbound?

Yeah they would definitely work as 28mm. I'll ask the painter if he can do a quick sample pic.

Thanks I would like to see that too

Because several people have asked me for a size comparison to 28mm, here's a photo comparing a Tah-Sig Warrior to one of our upcoming 28mm Nova Respublik infantrymen.

Interesting, they look like mass wise they aren't actually much below human.
-
I think that's basically right, YPU. The pigs in this picture both weigh about 150 pounds (about 68 kg) so they're about the same mass as a person.

:-)
The Tah-Sig were actually inspired by the Kathoga from the movie Relic. But with lots of changes of course -- shorter tails, smaller mandibles, bit smaller, some other anatomical differences (ie, they walk more like a theropod dinosaur, with their bodies balanced on their hips). Then wearing a heavy armoured environmental suit. Here's what the Kathoga looks like.

Those are really lovely looking models. And dare I say they're also rather sweet, particularly the one covering it's ears!
Would also go quite nicely as a little away team to make life difficult for the Tahey. I really need to get those flightless space dinosaurs painted.

Glad you feel that way -- they're aliens but they're not monsters.
