Steve, Andy and I played proper grown-up 8th edition Warhammer with square bases and everything.

Looks like a grand game - pity you don't remember more of it!
My compliments to whoever painted those models - nice looking armies.

"It's not the remembering that matters, it's the taking part" ;)
Thanks, Steve painted the Skaven and Goblins - the Dwarfs and Empire are my work.

Nice game, minis, and scenery, CONGRATULATIONS! ;)
WFB - even in its 8th Ed - is practically Oldhammer now! lol

Until GW sees the error of their ways and returns to the Old World with square bases 8th edition is Currenthammer lol

And how are they going to do that, pretend all of the Age of Sigmar garbage was just a dream? It wasn't convincing when JR Ewing came out of the shower way back when, and it won't work with WFB either. Sadly.
Being fair to Dallas, that retcon did inspire the best April Fool's joke to ever appear in Challenge magazine, back when Emperor Strephon turned out not to be dead, just taking a very long shower, and the entire Traveller civil war unhappened.
