I'm looking for normal/civilian miniatures for a Zombie game. Any suggestions?
I'm aware of some manufacturers - Zombicide, Studio, Warlord, Rebel, Khurusan.
A few examples - Businessman, Postal Worker, kid ( maybe with skateboard. With weapons if possible. Metal or plastic. I'm open to different scale as long as I can find Zombies in same scale.
25-28, 15mm, 1/72.
I'm just checking with the greatest gaming minds around, in case I missed some good ones.

We're using a mixture of zombicide, wargames factory (now warlord games) & hasslefree for our zpoc games.
2nd page of my zombie apocalypse in tromaville thread has some close up shots of some of our war bands. Would post a link but my tech-foo sucks big time, still it's easy enough to find in this forum nearish the top thanks to a recent up date.
As I've said in many other places, zombicide is the way to go for survivors as far as I'm concerned. They may be single piece, but the characterful sculpts and dynamic posses plus zombivor 2nd figures for each are just top notch.
Only hang ups are the relatively soft plastic (which paints up fine and holds the detail really well) can lead to weapons warping. Also I wouldn't dream of trying to convert them, due to the nature of the material

Maybe some old Grenadier/em4 Miniatures Future Warriors? Check 'Street people & Suits' line:

and maybe Rebels
http://moonrakerminiatures.com/rebels.htm (http://moonrakerminiatures.com/rebels.htm)
Reasonable price and quite good sculpts. I think I have some of them and I can take some scale comparison pics if you like.

It'll seem like I'm on commission as this is the second time I've mentioned them in a matter of days but Black Cat Bases do some interesting civilians.
-
Another option if you like old school looking miniatures is the street violence range from foundry.
Lots of very characterful looking little gangs with various themes such as snow White and several slipknot dwarves, classic mobsters, yardies, yakuza, cops and ladies of the night

Mercs Recon has some cool plastic civilians! You could PM Nimrod if he has some spare one. I got several from him and they are great.

With all the "going postal" reference out there- you would think there would be some Postman miniatures. :)

For armed civilians, you really can't beat Hasslefree Miniatures.

Reaper Miniatures has some in their Chronoscope line.

North Star carries the Copplestone Castings range as well as Artizan. Artizan has the second half of the Kiss, Kiss, Bang Bang range. Could be useful.

Or Brigade for the North Star stuff if you are in the US. They also have some very useful stuff in the Atomic Cafe range.

I know I am forgetting a ton. I have a Burt Reynolds from Deliverence that I forget where I got it for example. Best thing to do is dig around all the threads here in all the categories. You never know what you will find useful.

Yup, that is it.

Wow, this is already a well-covered topic but that never shut me up! lol
Already mentioned but I want to comment:
Recreational Conflict - Lead Bones. Civilian figures in unarmed and an armed pose. Not always proportional. But I like 'em.
Mercs civies are pretty large - more 32mm - but many cool poses. Not armed. (I don't know if these are available; mine were part of the kickstarter.)
I have some of most of the others mentioned, but I won't rate them all.
Don't forget Old Glory http://www.oldgloryminiatures.com/products.asp?cat=339 (http://www.oldgloryminiatures.com/products.asp?cat=339). Some of the sculpts are ugly, but some are good, and you can fill up a table fast. Not armed though.

Thank you everybody for the tips and links. I'll have check them out.
In particular I'm looking for a postal worker and a kid. ( maybe with skateboard ) other civilians.
Thanks again! !

Not a great sculpt but, indeed, a small kid on a skateboard:

Lead bones has a better sculpt but much older kid (maybe even adult)
-
Mega Miniatures had a pack of 20 generic modern civilians, including a skateboarding kid. I don't know if anyone is currently selling the range.
-
Both Copplestone and Reaper have Skateboard kids. The Copplestone ones are armed.
Old Glory has all kinds of unarmed civilians. In the SuperFigs range and some of the pulp ranges. The dress is modern enough for the pulp range.
-
You can also trawl through the Heroclix range. They are bigger figures so they don't look great with shorter figures like Hasslefree or copplestone, but fit just fine with Zombicide and Warlord Project Z figures. You can find anything from unarmed civis (mostly super hero alter egos) lightly armed civis mostly with pistols and a number of cops from beat walkers to riot gear.
They're not as easy to come by as they were in their heyday, but I know Troll & Toad still sells the singles for decent prices
