Hey guys!
Some of my mates and I have started looking into the old GW rule set call Arena of Blood that they put out in White Dwarf 229 (aus edition) that was about wyches beating the living daylights out slicing the hell out of each other, and while we found the rules set, we can't find any of the information on the fighters themselves.
We know that a poster came with this white dwarf that contained the stats for the individual fighters (looks like there were 7 of them), but I cannot find an image with enough resolution to make out the rules. Does anyone have this poster? Can they please let me know what the character's rules are?
Here's the only image I can find of the poster, for those who are unsure what I'm talking about

Cheers!

Sorry I can't help with the DE Wyches but isn't there a Chaos version of this idea out now?
(ah yes, here: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/203270/gorechosen (https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/203270/gorechosen)
Perhaps the core mechanics can be modified for DE?
-
It might be modifiable, but we really want to see what the stats for these characters are! Esp as this has shooting rules while gorechosen doesn't

Interesting piece of GW lore I never heard about before. It reminds me of a Skaven pit fighting minigame they had up on their website a long long time ago. (I miss those mini-games)
While I can't help you further, you might also want to check the "oldhammer" forums around the web. They tend to go in for this kind of thing.

Sold mine years ago, but they're not hard to come by cheap. Ebay, for ex:

You'd want to check to make sure the poster comes with it, of course.
Played the game a few times, not really much to it. Be better off kitbashing your own rules.

I have it still in the original issue of white dwarf mint condiotion

Gorechosen is almost entirely card driven. I don't believe arena of blood was.(Gorechosen is very very fun! )
There's something coming out soon called gangs of commoragh which i think could be an updated and expanded version of this idea.

That might have something to do with us being interested in arena of blood...

Can you please have a quick look for it when you get a chance and let me know what the character stats are? Thankyou!!!

The coincidence is a tad freaky...but I bet its like Corvus Belli and Infinity. The second you convert and paint a model to fill in for a model-less profile, they spite you and release said model :P

I think it's a case of the GW design team basically being told that nothing is off the table under the new CEO and have been allowed to go back through the archives and throw out some cool little board games.

One of my personal goals (for years now) is to make a custom 3D Arena of Blood. I have cast most of the hexes but it is on the back burner.
I'm out of town right now, if no one gets you details on the rules I will dig them out in a few days.
I too am really interested in the Commoragh game, I played DE in 3rd edition and enjoyed them quite a bit.

Will dig it out

Thankyou Dr Mathias and majorsmith!
