Perry Brothers make me happy with their ideas. And moreover I have today ordered the command group for my future Jacob's Rifles

Hurrah for the Afghan Regulars!!!!

Hurrah for the Afghan Regulars!!!!
There are more to come according to the Perry FB page : command is on the way and there'll be Afghan regulars firing line packs as well.

I followed the link sbove and was completely surprised to discover that the sets of Afghan regular army figures on the Perry site have a link to the page on my blog with 19th Century Afghan army reference by the legendary Ian Heath, and a recommendation for those interested in the subject to visit. I am pinching myself in shock and awe, kind of like a Beatles groupie from the Sixties who just saw their fanzine mentioned in the liner notes of the White Album.
I can still hardly believe it!

Good news!!! - at the risk of appearing ungrateful or greedy some artillery (and limbers?) and cavalry would be nice as well! (Well - I can only ask can't I?)

You deserve the recognition, MG :)

Wow! I like the look of those. The Afghans could probably be paaded out with their earlier Foundry sculpts.
