Title: The Kingpin Returns
Post by: bong-67 on February 02, 2017, 09:42:54 AM
Hi,
Here's a pic of my version of the Kingpin for a Pulp Alley campaign I'm planning.  He's actually the Hasslefree Leonard figure, the resin master version (the metal version was out of stock when I wanted to place my order but since I REALLY wanted that figure I splurged on the resin version).  He's a beautiful figure to paint.

Great work George. Do you know how he measures up against the KM Daredevil?

Hi,
I haven't assembled my Knight Miniatures Daredevil yet but I'd expect it will be a bit bigger.  I'll post a comparison pic as soon as I can.

I agree, I think the KM Daredevil will be much larger.  I too have both, and will try to snap a pic, unless Bong beats me to it!

But, great work on that figure.  It's a wonderful sculpt, and you've done him justice.

With rumblings im seeing on Facebook, i doubt we will see a Kingpin figure either. Lot's think Knight Models have lost the Marvel licence. :(

Daredevil and Jessica Jones.  Daredevil is the now discontinued Knight Models one and Jessica Jones is the Hasslefree Nishiko martial artist.  The Knight Models figures at 35 mm are much bigger than the Hasslefree ones but since heroes are larger than life and Jessica Jones is supposed to be a small woman that doesn't bother me too much.

The Kingpin next to Daredevil.  Since he is the Hasslefree Leanard figure he is smaller.  I'm still going to use him though.

Knight Models The Punisher.  A nice figure but very big.  He's bigger even than Daredevil.  I might pair him with Hasslefree's Rowen, standing in for Rachel Cole-Alves.

All looking good.  I love the Jessica Jones idea.  I used that same model for my version of Jessica Alba's Max character from Dark Angel.
