These toys usually come out around Christmas time in grocery stores, but I'm sure they can be found on the net for sale as well.
the silver train is the original way I purchased them. Some are more heavily customized than others.

it is O scale...they fit on standard 3 rail track without a problem

IF...they're the same as the GoldLock/Fastlane trains, they're American O-Gauge = 1/48 scale. You can find 2-rail track, too.

Looks just like the Goldlock/Fastlane trains. I have a few of them myself.
