VSF Pirate Captain. A few years back I painted up a VSF Pirate crew but I've never been happy with the figs I painted to be Captain...until now. The dread Captain VanderKroot! He holds a tesla pistol (you can tell by the copper top battery) and his sidekick could be from the jungles of Venus, a catacomb on Mars or the ruins of Atlantis. I thought about several paint schemes for the bug, I went with this one to make it look more parroty. "What's that parrot doing on your shoulder? Nothing I hope!" I added the sword from a bits box.

What a fantastic figure! Who makes it? He definitely is a candidate for the evil genius club.

The fig is by Mark Copplestone. It's part of NorthStar's Rogue Stars line. I've included group shots of the Pirate crew!
