Has this been covered here before?
Fed up with having to signup for everything, yet can't deny Pinteret's usefulness as a pictorial reference for modelling and painting figures...
If one has Firefox as their browser, then the Nuke Anything (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-us/firefox/addon/nuke-anything-enhanced/) add-on allows one to eliminate that annoying box: right click and select "Remove this object", though it might have to be done a few times.

There's an add-on called 'Pinterest Guest' that just hand-waves the site to think you're signed in.

Nuke Anything is performing erratically: sometimes it works, sometimes not, especially after reloading the page. :-I

"Pinterest Guest" is a brilliant little application. Also works in Chrome (and Opera via the TamperMonkey add on). Pinterest has started using a delay script on the pop up so you may see it appear momentarily before it is zapped.
You can actually block the Pinterest Pop up yourself by right click on the page and use the "inspect element" to access the page code. Mouse over the offending pop up and it will highlight a section of the code then hit "Delete node" to remove it.
Unfortunately is page specific not global (like the add on) so you have to repeat if you access more pages on Pinterest. But for just looking at a single image from a google search etc it is fine.
