Title: Chain of Command AAR - Western Front 1944
Post by: Mattias on February 12, 2017, 11:08:45 AM
Hi,
I just posted an AAR on our blog. Its a German Panzergrenadier platoon trying to wrestle a vital crossroad from a US Rifle platoon in the late summer of 1944. The Germans were doing great until they run into an 81mm mortar barrage called in by the American Forward Observer...
You can read and see more here: http://northern-wargaming.blogspot.se/2017/02/aar-probe-before-panzer-attack-on.html (http://northern-wargaming.blogspot.se/2017/02/aar-probe-before-panzer-attack-on.html)
Here are some of the pictures from the game.

Nice table!

Chain of Command is an awesome game.  Can a unic really carry a full squad?

Lovely looking table. Is it modular?

Thanks alot!

The table is indeed modular, made in six 2x2' sections. The roads are fixed. You can see it in other configurations (together with a GW board) here: http://northern-wargaming.blogspot.se/2015/03/a-day-of-many-wargames-aars-galore.html?m=1 (http://northern-wargaming.blogspot.se/2015/03/a-day-of-many-wargames-aars-galore.html?m=1)

And yeah, the Unic should probably have been used as an equivalent of a sdkfz 250 rather than a 251...
