Title: Warlord and others that size
Post by: French on February 17, 2017, 05:18:03 AM
What other companies (plastic and metal) do you feel go well with Warlord stuff, I saw Zvezda stuff on ebay but not sure if they measured up quite right).

Napoleonic Warlord are at the larger end of 28mm. I have them mixed in with Victrix plastic, Perry Plastic and metal, Front Rank metal, and some Casting Room metals (in my opinion the only ones noticeably smaller) without too many problems.
If I remember this correctly 28mm is nominally 1/56th scale (Yes I know sizes in mm are technically not a scale :) ) and the Zvezda models are 1/72nd?

Tony.

I would be careful there, the newer warlord thirty years war stuff is bigger than the older stuff they did for pike and shotte, the new thirty years command minis tower over my older highlanders for instance.
