A not so serious write up of an ongoing game set in 1795 Piedemount. Well it's all a giggle ain't it!
The write up can be found here:

Just love the terrain, , great looking terrain...who built the church?
-
Great buildings. I am very jealous of both the church and tower.
Glad you're enjoying your dalliance with skirmish gaming.
Cheers
Rich.

Second part of the ongoing rescue of the contessa using the very wonderful Sharp Practice II rules by Richard. Do have a read.

Yet another update:
This week Neal's Austrian infantry decided to recreate Usain Bolt's Olympic 200m attempt by quick marching down the road on an audacious out flanking manouvre in order to cut off my retreat point.

Meanwhile the Contessa de Knickerbocka and her escort struggle to cross the drainage ditch to the relative safety of the French camp.

At the same time the French infantry column flounders in it's attempt to cross the same obsticle under fire from their flank.

It'll be done and dusted this Tuesday night Richard, if Neals Austrians don't blow a gasket. All depends on who pulls their token out first really.
Love the rules mate, everyone should give em a go.

What happened next, the final push in Piedemont.

The situation from last week shows both sides closing in on the French escape point, who will secure it first, will the Contessa de Knickerbocka escape with her honour intact (not much chance of that given her past) or will Oberstleutnant Von Strumpa have the fair lady in his clutches, do pop in for a look dear reader:
