I'm starting work on a mob of fantasy zombies inspired by the C18 series from Citsdel Miniatures. Here is the first finished sculpt.

He looks great. Can't wait to see the rest. Who will be manufacturing and distributing them?

Thank you! I'll take them to Kickstarter or similar when their ready. I have some other undead troop types planned to go with them.
-
Second zombie nearly done and he has fancy modesty guts too!
-
Excellent!
Will we see halfling, orc, gobllin, dwarf, etc. zombies as well?

Thank you and yes, there are going to be some non humans, I also thought of a Chaos Warrior zombie too would be cool.
-
Finished off my second Zombie. Peeling his face off in an attempt to make friends with the other zombies!

Excellent sculpts. I really like the face-off guy. Never saw that concept on a miniature. If you feel like it, I would put some eyeballs in the sockets, after all, they should not come off with the skin (a guess, I have no experience in such matters).
-
I did consider putting eyeballs in and took advice from my daughter. She thought it looked better with them out and it'd be easier to add them later, than to take them away. She's thirteen and knows everything apparently!
-
She has a point, though.
I do like the "hah, fooled you - it's just me!" zombie.
-
Second zombie looks ace too.
-
Zombie cow added to the horde. I'll have him pulling a cart of something ghastly!
-
:o :o
So cool! Me wantses!
-
I second that. I pretty sure I never saw a zombie cow. I feel these need to be added to my RPG collection when they are released (which I assume you intend to do?). Don't worry about the eyeballs. A bit of greenstuff will solve this issue and customers can have either variant.

Thank you. Yes, I'll be releasing them in April when I have more sculpts made. I'm going to take them the Kickstarter to cover the casting costs.
More zombies and mounted Wights on their way and by request more zombie animals too.
-
Excellent. I think getting a small set of Zombies should be within my budget this year.
Animals: Maybe a Zombie pig or wild boar? A Zombie stag?

Thank you. I'll be working on more zombie animal sculpts next week. I think it's very plausible that a fantasy zombie mob would contain all sorts of reanimated creatures and not just humans. It'll hopefully look good on the gaming table too!
-
More undead join the horde. Looking to have a mob of zombies , five mounted Wights, some characters and a Corpse Cart. I'll be launching sometime in April....hopefully.

Great to see them all together Phil.
Looking forward to seeing the rest.

An undead a Champion joins the mob, leading the zombies into battle!

These really are some excellent sculpts.

Thank you, Im glad you like them :)

A Zombie Stallion has risen from the grave, now to decide what will be riding the beast. Probably a Wight. I'm going to leave off any saddle or armour, so it can be used without the rider. I think undead mounts are under the will of their master, so no need to steer the beast.
-
My gut guzzling zombie Dwarf has emerged from the grave. Those guts are so good he's literally losing his mind!

First of five mounted Wights rise from the grave!

Gosh, these are good. Will they be cast in metal?
-
Wow these are amazing!
-
Great!! :-* :-* :-*
-
Gosh, these are good. Will they be cast in metal?
Thank you all. Yes, I'm looking at metal casts via Hysterical Games. Some of the bigger animals may need to be resin, but my first choice will be metal, as it's proper!
-
Very nice. Any idea of prices at the moment. I so want these.
-

Hi Beefcake. I'm going to keep them at a reasonable price, certainly below retail. Im thinking of £3 per mini, so £30 for the zombie mob.
I'll need to pick the brains of my miniatures producing friends to nail a firm price, but the Kickstarter price will be the cheapest way to get them.
The horses I'm hoping to put into metal, but they may need to be resin, which effects the price, but initial thoughts are £8 each, including the rider tops.
Also this is my first step into producing my own range and I'm not planning on releasing them to retail until the Kickstarter backers have all received their miniatures and I also need a website ( which I'd funded by the Kickstarter hopefully).
-
Well I'm looking forward to it. I'm a fan of your undead stuff.

My Necromancer inspired by Vincent Price. Thought he'd be perfect as he's the Master of the Macabre!
-
awesome! Vincent is the King
-
Oh man, I really need that Vincent Price* necromancer! Although everything I've seen so far looks stunning.
* I own about a dozen Price films, but my favourites are without a doubt The Oblong Box and Cry of the Banshee.
-
Thank you, , glad you like him. I really enjoyed making him. Not back to regular zombies :)
-
We want that kickstarter. We need that kickstarter.
-
Some great stuff in here, Phil.
Those animals are my favourites as there are not too many undead beasties about....yet!

Superb! Some essential models there that I don't just want but I definitely need. Looking forward to April !

Great stuff! Personal favourite has to be Vincent Price though, lovely little figure.
-

Thank you. I'm going to make him a pack zombie, to carry all his Necromancer gear!
-
I want all these figures now! That necromancer is brilliant.
-
This may result in me pledging on a Kickstarter for the second time ever. Amazing models. It's surprising how limited the choice of fantasy zombies is, so thank you for making these!
-
Thanks chaps. I'm just getting started on Kings of War and plan an undead army, so this lot will be front ranking my legion!
-
The Vincent Price mini is great. Simple but effective.
-
Thanks Beefcake. I'm considering working his staff more. I'm not a fan of busy miniatures crammed with details, well, not a fan of painting busy miniatures crammed with details!
-
lol I hear ya.
-
Amazing stuff Phil, really can't wait - you got my full backing!
-

Awesome, thank you Annie!
-
Would be in for Mr. Price as well :)
-
All the Deadites are BEAUTIFUL in their own way & very imaginative, but Vincent the Necromancer is my favorite...an immediately recognizable miniature. VERY WELL DONE!
-

Thank you all and I'm thrilled that you can see a likeness. That's made my day. I'm working on some other miniatures that directly support him.
-
Ewe have got to be Kidding, a Weresheep has arrived baaaaahhhk from the brink of death and hungry for blood!
-
That's awesome! :o
-
That is a SPLENDIDLY imaginative creation...it looks like he's belting out the Whiffenpoofs' Song. VERY WELL DONE!
-
Thank you. I'm making him some minions now, or his little flockers!
-
First undead sheep reporting for duty!
-
Working at the stock market has now become a dangerous occupation. The Minion Deadite Sheep is a beauty in his/her/its own way....possibly a tenor. OUTSTANDING WORK!
-
Ooooh I love it ! Definitely a must have !
-
Thank you for the comments and I'm glad the sheep has found approval. I'm looking forward to sticking him into the midst of a zombie regiment.
Here's the third zombie horse. I'm thinking of giving him a Vlad the Impaler styled rider, undead obviously, but based on the old paintings of the chap?
-
Yay zombie critters!
-
Love the undead and were sheep. I will have to watch the film Black Sheep again now - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9-ExKYM5xQY

Thats a weeellll underrated film! lol
Great work on the undead fauna!
-
Very nice.
I thought Black Sheep too when seeing that.
-
Vampire Lord based on Vlad the Impaler. He's still work in progress. I have a horse and banner bearer on the way for him!

Guarding his masters research from snooping Adventurers, the thing from the Lab!

You have a real flair for the Living Impaired. They are all WONDERFULLY expressive characters, which is something that makes your Undead unique. OUTSTANDING WORK!

Thank you. I think there are several great Undead ranges upcoming. Skull and Crown is one I'm particularly looking forward to. I'm personally hoping to have a near all metal undead army in the near future.
I'll be cranking up the sculpting from this weekend to get the range complete and ready to launch, then see what happens. I've got some European themed mummies planned and a Thing from the Crypt, that I'm really excited about making!
-
These are all really wonderful and I hope they come to market soon!
-
These are all really wonderful and I hope they come to market soon!
Thank you. I'm taking them to Kickstarter later this month, it's my first project and I hope to raise funds to not only get the sculpts cast, but also to set up a website, where I can sell my future releases!
-
Mummy / Barrow Wight miniature. He's 35mm to the top of his head and the first of five, for my Kickstarter project, which I'll be launching a week Monday!
-
Date noted. That guy looks great.
-
Cheers beefcake 👍
-
Lovin this last fella
-
These are some amazing sculpts :o As someone has already said, you really have a flair for tge Undead. You achieve such character in these guys! :-*
-
Awesome minis! Keen to get my hands on some of these. :)
-
Thank you all. I'm nearly ready to launch. The project will last for two weeks and during that time I will continue to make sculpts as stretch goals, based on the advice of the backers!
-
The Thing in the Crypt. It's 40mm to the top of his head, so a big beastie.
Probably Troll kin, it stalks the burial chambers of the Dead, feasting on the ghouls and other carrion there, or any Adventurers who is unlucky enough to cross its path!
-
May be your best creation yet!! I love his toothless but scary mouth; seems like he could swallow a horse at once...
-
May be your best creation yet!! I love his toothless but scary mouth; seems like he could swallow a horse at once...
Thank you. I'll have a separate tongue to go with it, a long horrible thing, but personally I think the gaping hole is quite terrifying on its own!
-
I like that one too.
-
Carrion Knight. He's part of the Barrow Wight / Mummy group.
-
All kinds of nice undead goodness to that guy. From the helm to the shield he's all evil!
-
And, have you launched yet? I need to know!
-
Again with the character! :-* I know it's a stupid thing to love about the sculpt, but the way the head tilts to the side.....it's like he's been standing in that pose for millennia and is just too dam tired to keep it upright!
-
And, have you launched yet? I need to know!
Thank you all. I'm launching Monday.... hopefully. It'll run for two weeks and during that time I'll be adding new sculpts as I make them :)

Lol. Yes, I think it's a similar feeling to going shopping with the Mrs. He's just waiting for the adventurers to get a little closer, just a little more!
-
Crazy axe wielding Wight. The axe and hands are a separate piece. Two more to make and we're ready to launch this thing!

That's quite a collection! I hadn't seen the wight lifting his own head off before! Genius! :o
-
Monday, you say? Noted. Will be keeping an eye out for the startup.
-
Thank you. I'm grateful for your support. It's an exciting prospect, but also a bit scary too :)
-
Just don't overstretch yourself. Or get too excited with success. I'll be in at some level.
-

Absolutely, no crazy stretch goals. Only the sculpts I have made by the end are getting included and they'll be heading of to the caster at the end of the campaign. No stretch goal promises of great things, that keep me tied up for months.
-
Great thinking. The last Kickstarter I back (Johnny Lauck's Robots) finished about a month ago and I received it about a week ago. Granted he was having it cast as the campaign progressed and it was really just a pre-order. He didn't put in any stretch goals which made it super-easy for him to manage. It finished and was delivered before any of my previous ones delivered.
I think people are getting over kickstarters that promise a lot and take forever to deliver. People are now more selective and steer clear of "to good to be true" offers.

Indeed. I steer clear of artists impressions and computer renders. Not that they're all bad, but it's reassuring to see a physical sculpt and also not getting carried away. A quick turn around is key. I'm quoting six months, but I'm hoping it'll be a lot quicker, just giving the caster plenty of fat. He's got a good reputation too, so I'm not expecting any issues.
-
Great stuff, sure I will back this
-
Absolutely love it all Phil, can't wait to back and share it all. Very proud of you, adult son.

Thank you Annie. I wouldn't be doing this if it wasn't for your encouragement back when. 🙂

Fourth Barrow Wight. Carrion Priest. Only one more sculpt to finish off and then it's ready to launch.

Thank you very much. I'm hoping to launch my project today. Got an axe to make and then it's done....bar the stretch goals :)
-
My Kickstarter is now Live! It's been quite a journey just getting to this point. The rest I guess is like a roller coaster ride!
Just a note on multiple rewards. Just add the total and I'll get the content of your Pledge with the Pledge Manager.

I know exactly how you feel. One of the main objectives is to get a web store set up. So yes, they'll be available post Kickstarter at some point. The KS is at a reduced rate, especially the "all the Dead Things" reward.
-
Here's the last of the miniatures for the Undead Heroes reward. He's a thuggish Wight. The project is already funded and heading towards the first stretch goal. I'm also running a poll on my Facebook group March of the Dead, to decide the next stretch goals. At the top an undead Ogre and then a Minotaur!
-
+1 for Ogre. But seriously not too worried either way.
-
Cheers Beefcake. I'll make them both together. Zombie chickens are creeping up the poll too :o
-
Just backed the project. The minis are just too cool!
Cheers
GS
-
I checked that poll. Zombie chicken horde could be interesting.

Thank you GS, glad you like them :)

If they get made, I'll include a dead "Colonel" miniature :)

Some very nice models there. Will be some cherrypicking then, when they are up for sale on your site. :)

Thanks Duncan. No site yet. This is my first foray into becoming a producer. I'm hoping to set up a site from the proceeds of the Kickstarter :)

I certainly look forward to it. I'm glad it's doing well! Keep us informed when the stuff becomes available!
-
I revised the Standard Bearer for my Mounted Terrors. He now has a heads Shish Kebsb Standard. They were the first stretch goal to be unlocked in my March of the Dead Kickstarter.

Thank you LazarusKing. I'll post back here when I'm up and running :)

Nice!!! 8)

That is a VERY IMPRESSIVE & BEAUTIFULLY crafted creation. The mount is somewhat scarier than the rider. OUTSTANDING WORK once again!
-
Looks really great! Love the mount :) !
-
Thank you all for the kind comments and support!
Here's the next nightmare cavalry mount. Also the Undead Ogre stretch goal, which was unlocked last night.
I've got a Minotaur ( slightly dead) on his way too!

Nice work. I doubt I can stretch for the ogre though. Looks great. His jaw looks dislocated on that second pic (makes it more undead *thumbs up*)

The Undead Minotaur. Very close to being unlocked too.

That Minotaur is incredible. The desiccated look really makes it.

Thank you. I think he'd look good in either a dusty tomb or swamp scenario. I'm looking forward to seeing them painted one day.
Not by me though, as my painting is poop!
-
Another great sculpt. Very nice.
-
The new additions are WONDERFULLY horrifying. I love the Ogre's expressive face. They just keep getting better. VERY WELL DONE once more!

My female Necromancer. She's the apprentice and granddaughter of the Sinister Necromancer!

I'm very much looking forward to that!
-
You're killing me here Phil. So much good stuff. (I'm currently selling off some stuff I've made from a plaster mold to help fund this some more :) )
-
You can see the family resemblance; she is LOVELY in her own disturbing way. Your array of WONDERFULLY imaginative creation seems blessedly endless. OUTSTANDING WORK once more!
-
Undead Unicorn, the mount for the Dread Queen. Which I still need to make, that's my job for today :)
Thank you all for the kind comments and support. It really helps gee me along. The campaign is nearly finished and I'm looking at a final sculpt after the Mounted Terrors, Queen and a pig. A Undead Centaur has been mentioned. I'll try and get it done!
-
I really like the zombie unicorn (I wouldn't have expected to use "zombie" and "unicorn" in the same sentence). Great concept and great sculpt!
-

Thank you, I enjoyed making it. It just occurred to me that two of them, face to face, would make a nice statue for a blighted keep or Ravenloft scenario?

Excellent sculpt! :-*
-
Yep, love it.
-
They are really creepy, which is a good thing.
-
Wowa!! Will these all still be availlable after the Kickstarter?
-
Thank you all again.
As we're heading towards the end of the campaign I managed to squeeze in this porky chap. To round of the farm animals selection.

-
Wowa!! Will these all still be availlable after the Kickstarter?
Yes, once the Kickstarter pledges are satisfied, I'll then get them available online. I'll post back when they are :)
-
Just looked at the updates. Those masters look wonderful!
-
The piggy is just disgusting and that a good point !
-
The new additions are WONDERFUL. The possibilities intrinsic in all your creations are astounding. I can picture an idyllic undead setting. FANTASTIC WORK once more!
-
Thank you all again for the support.
The miniatures have all been mastered now and they'll be going into production in the next week or so.
For the moment I've been clearing commissions, whilst planning my next project. I'll be staying with fantasy, but I think denizens of a Dark and foreboding forest. A mix of Fantasy and natural creatures.
-

That sounds great!
-
Noticed this thread just today. Very nice work! You manage to give your undead a style that distinguishes them from most of the other zombie minis.
I will keep an eye on you and your undead... :)
-
Good stuff Phil :)
