The older gentleman with the cane pictured above is G. Randolph Mullins, one of Bay City's most prominent citizens.  Among other things, Mr. Mullins is the owner of Golden State Broadcasting, a network of six radio stations strung along the Pacific Coast, and that is why the leader of the America Forever Party, Beauregard (Bo) Denton, is deeply engaged in conversation with him.  Denton would very much like to sell Mullins on the idea of adding his own small Bakersfield station to the Golden State network, so that his nightly social and political commentaries could be heard from San Diego to Portland.
Mullins is a very busy man, of course, so Denton has only a limited amount of time to make his pitch, and close the deal on several important business details...
The next scenario rolled up on the Vice Alley scenario table happened to be "Race Against Time," a Pulp Alley main rule book scenario that turned out to be very well-suited for solo play. Here's a report:  http://imgur.com/a/FZHwh (http://imgur.com/a/FZHwh)
As always, thanks for your interest.
