I bought the officers at Crisis last year and indeed they are very, very good. In fact so good that although I intended to use most of them in the Indian Mutiny, I have now decided to paint myself a little Afghan War SP2 force. But.. I can't seen to find these greatcoated skirmishing figures on the Studio Miniatures website? Are they already available?
Or am I just out of Google credit? :)

Nice work, mate.
The officer is indeed lovely, and the weathering is a nice touch.
:-*

I think they are part of the second wave of 1st Afghan war castings Studio Mins had promised to release by mid-February. The new packs have obviously been delayed but they'll be out eventually, hopefully soon enough - just don't ask me when ! lol

Thanks Arthur! Hopefully out by Salute. Although with the new Iron Duke an Warfare ones out as well I'm beginning to seriously contemplate a second mortgage. Nobody would buy 60+ year old kidneys.

Warfare ones ?
Are they doing a colonial range then ?

No, but some new additions to the GNW. And I really need to start on the Swedish cavalry now.

Ah ! I see lol
Warfare GNW are very tempting but existing Swedish cavalry not as varied or dynamic,to my eye,as the Infantry at present , but I'm sure that will be rectified in the near future :)

How's this lol
lol
That is more like it!
