Title: Limes tragico ed eroico - War in the alps
Post by: Koppi on March 08, 2017, 09:21:18 AM
Last year I visited Firenze, Italy. There was a small but nice exhibition about the War in the Alps during World War I.
Maybe some of you are interested in my report and the pictures.
For wargamers and miniature collectors you will see uniforms, weapons and so on.
Report in german and english.

Good report.

I'm interguied by this part of WWI, I think because it is so different to the normal view of the western front - and that the terrain was so extreme!

Thanks for sharing that.  One of my granduncles was a doctor in the Austro-Hungarian forces on that front.
