This UFO by Pegasus works really well with the little gray fellows(from Zombiesmith) and is a really cool little flying saucer. If you find yourself so inclined there is enough workable room inside to make an interior (not sure if I am brave enough to attempt it thought) the model does not have that many parts and looks like a straight forward build, all in all it is well worth the price. (I have the rocket too and that looks nice but I have not really gone over to yet)

Yeah, I've been waiting for these to hit the shelves at modelhobbies.uk for a while, now. I'm going to use them with Brigade Games' Alien Invasion figs, though :)
-
OOOO they look mean >:( >:(
-
Wait 'til you see my painted ones - I paint them green with jet black eyes - covered with gloss varnish (the eyes) :D
-
how high is the main hull? (figure wise for internal use rather than height from the ground)
-
That saucer looks great! :-*
-
Anevilgiraffe: I'll see if I can get a picture for you. The picture on the box art that has the Scientist figure on it is pretty close.
-
A scale picture would be great.
-
I bought the Lindbergh Area 51 UFO for my 1950s alien Invasion project. I swear it's as big as a wheeltrim!
-
As promised: 1)What's in the box. 2)Hull halfs together but no legs. 3)The grey on the inside of the bottom hull to show how tall the top hull would be.

These are the hull parts from the 1/72 scale rocket next to a Copplestone KKBB figure and a Zombie Smith Grey alien

Strobing led's in the saucer? Yummy!
Oh and pegasus should be careful...Gamesworkshop will have copyrighted grey and clear green plastic, obviously a necron rip off! :D

A couple of very useful kits. Give me some great ideas for various games.

Ok! well you want to see a finished UFO made by Pegasus.
Well, the 1st UFO I ordered is done. It is put together and painted. You can check it out here!
I have another one being done by a friend who is putting lights under neath the UFO and inside so that it strobes and goes around the UFO's windows.
Then he is going to paint it differently some what.

nice simple paint job...
I'm guessing the upper hull is about 30mm from the ground with the landing gear on? hmmm... not much option for getting in or out...

Excellent - that looks the part

as you see there are landing bay doors down...
but I think from the upper hull down to the mat it is about 40mm or more.
if you are talking in the center between the landing gear it isn't even 30mm.
the ufo is 1/72. Like when you by a plane to put together that is 1/72 scale.

I can see landing gear doors open, nothing to indicate a door into the actual ship... scale obviously doesn't mean much when it's a made up thing... I just prefer obvious ways in and out - guess they have teleports.
-
At the bottom of the UFO in the center there is a place like on ID4 (Independence Day) ship
when it fired it's "laser"... that this is the opening I gather for 'aliens' or other to use
as the 'door'.
-
Got my Pegasus ufo, and by brief examination, I would agree the door is at centre bottom of the disc. Iris type one. Looks ok for a short Grey in 1/72, but it's a bit low for 28mm. Perhaps some adjustment of the landing gear angle is in order? Or does it even need landing gear? It could just hover there.

The ufo looks great, nice paint job and build! Makes me want to order one but I know my wife will be like, spend, spend, spend so I'll have to wait a few months! ;)
