Hello you lot
I plan to commission a nice modular board to play SoBH in 15-18 mm. Ideally, it's played on a 60 cm x 60 cm (2' x 2').
So that would be 4 modules but to have a bit more modularity and variation to play different scenarios. I'd like to go for 8 modules.
Now comes my question, according to your experience, what would be the best possible setting having in mind 8 modules between
plain modules, river, hill, forest modules and maybe a module or 2 with a farm.

What is SoBH?

Song of Blades and Heroes

Well, not much success here :'(

Try to post on the fantasy board.
More likely people there playing SOBH.
I know the system but only played SSD, SDS, SMT (historical basically).

There are a few companies which do terrain boards.Might be best to buy loose terrain to place on your boards how you like depending on the scenario being played.

Here are a few pictures of WIP of my commissioned board. The modules are 30 x 30 cm and designed to play with 15 - 18 mm.

Nice boards!

Thank you majorsmith. Hopefully they'll be finished soon and I'll be able to post some more pictures. There will be 8 modules in total, hills, forest, plain, pond with a willow. A first commission I ordered for SoBH. More will follow as wallet permits, village, tower, etc ...

Thanks for your kind words. I am just the happy owner, the maker is Dimitri Matias from Clairon Miniatures. I only designed it but his skilled fingers and mojo did the rest lol The next batch will be 2 river and 2 farm modules.
