They look good - it's clear what they are, the details are nicely sculpted, and there plenty of options. :)

Off the top of my head the average dork is just under 19-20mm give or take. (I don't have a measurement device to hand) Whereas the Gdf are pretty much true 15mm. There is a scale shot at the bottom of the KS.

Space Strike! A new quick and dirty tabletop battle game for SLAP Miniatures 15mm lines is now on display to new and old backers of our Kickstarter projects.

During the course of this Kickstarter we didn't add any stretch goals to complicate the whole process. We did add new 15mm sci-fi rules for backers as part of the project AND a free mystery miniature to all backers pledging for Space Dorkz, Space Knights and GDF.

The Space Dorkz have already been sent off for casting and we predict that everything will be posted out to backers by the end of May next month. If you love 15mm sci-fi, the best/worst villains around and great models what are you waiting for?

- is the mistery miniature 15mm?
- do all pledges get this free mini, or one must pledge for the three types of minis (dorkz and knights and GDF)?

It is intended to be 15mm yes.
All pledges receive one regardless of which sets they have selected, be they Dorkz, Space Knights, GDF or all three.
The only backers who do not receive the free miniature are those that have nothing to be posted (the £1 'Stinkrat Stew' reward).

Glad to get in on these. Going to be using mine for some post apocalyptic games. If I was thinking of other groups for some future ranges, i'd lime to see some PA humans. I would also like some high tech aliens...something Tau-ish in 15mm would be great.

Yeah I figured the Dorkz could also count as post apocalyptic mutants. I'm not sure what PA humans are but I am slowly producing cops and rebellious miners.
High tech aliens though... Hmmm, not sure how to go about that yet if I'm honest. I'd appreciate ideas!

Post Apocalyptic (PA) humans. A bit Mad Max-ish.

There are plans to do that but they're roughly half way down the list at the moment. Got a few releases to go before then I'm afraid.
Will get there in the end though :)

From the commercial p.o.v. it's possibly best to further develop the Dorkz, Knigts and GDF further. There are umpteen million things you'd probably sell pretty easy, for instance GDF in the let's say classical Star Wars inspired look of the RT Imperial Guard or special "orders" (some might call them chapters) of Space Knights:)
Or simply more variety in the Dorkz. I would certainly pledge on another sets, like bikers, boar boyz, feral Dorkz etc.

I totally agree with you, right now I'm sculpting an awful lot of Space Knight stuff including bikes. The same will happen for the Dorkz too. I'm in a bit of a rush at the moment but I'll go on about this sort of thing later!

Me too, just heard form the casters that they will be back in three weeks at most. So they'll be posted out before the end of the month! Not too long to wait.

Well, Space Knights and Space Dorkz need to have their factions increased to make up proper table top armies. So they're the first priority.
Then, in no particular order;
Space Mericans and Soviets, think diesel punk in look.
Gribbly aliens.
Space scum. Mercs, pirates, that sort of thing.
scantily clad ladies. I need to have fun too...
Several sets of colonist and civ types, including the various alien races.
Cops and rebellious miners.
Space Elves
The above are definite and set in my mind as to what they will look like and do. Other sets are very likely as time goes on.

Bergil popped round the other day and kindly bought me a set of both Dorks and Knights (plus the alien overlord on throne) - absolutely lovely models, even better in the flesh. Oh, and btw Bergil - I've not forgotten the ideas etc we discussed for the range(s) - I'll drop you a message with the details. I must say folks, if you like what you've seen so far, then you're going to love the future stuff ;) :-*
