Title: PULP ALLEY - VICE ALLEY Turf War (Now with larger font, thanks for comments)
Post by: Menelduir on March 29, 2017, 05:04:57 AM
Latest AAR and in a brand new format.

Feedback welcome on any aspect of this post, I am especially keen to know if it is easy to view for most people or if I will need to change my posting style., or if I need to report.

First game after the (un) Social Affair, Missy continued to be a force to be dealt with, and we still have not decided if a peaceful duo will make an effective league.
This game was the second game played that night and went rather late. In the end we had to call it early, and given the power of the leagues involved we think it would have gone on into the wee hours of the night.

It was an interesting game, and I enjoyed reading it. And the comic book style is cool--I wish I had the chops to do it--but the individual picture frames were a little small--I had to squint a bit to read the text.

Thank you for the feedback.
It is my first time using COMIC LIFE, and I was determined to get it posted sooner than later. (Publish or Perish!)

I will see about increasing font size and maybe use fewer frames per page.

Brilliant. Big fan of Comic Life! It can be a bit difficult to read the pages from a blog so what I do with my comic batreps is use the 'Export to PDF' option on Comic Life (making sure to keep it to 300 dpi otherwise the PDF can be a bit grainy) and then upload the PDF to Google Drive and Dropbox and give the link out at the end of the blog post so people can read it a bit easier if they want.

Thank you for the pointers I have checked out your stuff and did wonder.
Whatever you said sounds easy, when you say it, but my skill set is not so great o_o
However I will try it out.

Really love the program too! I am in no way computer savvy and yet I can easily handle this program, very intuitive!
It took me a while to do the first comic, not because I was fighting with the program, but because I kept exploring all the available options!

I anticipate other delays because I plan to explore my composition options to make the comic as dynamic as possible.
Beyond the inspiration to paint and game more, Pulp Alley and LAF has had unanticipated results in that I am on an unexpected learning curve covering a variety of subjects.
