I wanted a tree for my Venus Jungle that was not the traditional tree design of; leafy matter mainly on top of a pillar / trunk. So using chewed pine cone cores I worked up a group that makes the eye try to figure out what its seeing.

Also they are about 3 to 4 inches high so mix in well with my taller "trees" that I use. All the parts were assembled here and there without any real goal at the time till I picked up the parts box and toyed around with bits and pieces.

I love those. Sufficiently different to be alien yet still recognizable as flora.

Very nice indeed. I must make some unique Venus flora for my own VSF project.

Another Great Idea and Tutorial Alfrik! Thanks. (I've been so busy making jungle I haven't been checking this board enough!)
Thanks again for all of the ideas.

Once again Alfrik, you again never to cease to amaze at least me on your wonderful creations. I was watching my younger boy play Star Wars Battlefront and the one scenario has trees that look almost identical to the ones you just made. I must steel these ideas...once again. Thanks again for your creativity!!

Nice trees!
Are the flowers plastic, too, or are they some dried 'real' stuff?
