Really like what you're doing here and giving me a lot of ideas for my own Early Saxon warband. I've used the Gripping Beast archers but not overly impressed with them to be honest. Victrix archers have either been built as singers or converted to warriors with the exception of the ones in hose which will be used for a 1066 project. Late Roman slingers/archers are on the to buy list though I'll probably use bows from dark ages set instead. Seeing what you've done with the WGA Goths though I'm going to pick them up to provide some Saxon archers.

There's quite a few photographs of members of the Assault Squadrons wearing what look like black berets with RE Cap badges.

That said I've also seen photos of a lighter beret possibly khaki, which seems odd as I would have presumed that anyone not wearing a Para, RAC or Marine beret woud have been wearing the GS cap. Then again they could just be nattily worn GS caps, which were of course khaki.

Did the AVRE crews have tank berets or were they equipped like engineers?

Were they engineers trained to operate a tank or tank crew trained to be engineers?

Found some nice 3D printed tank crew, to go with the AVRE, on eBay.
Very smooth orange resin, with no layer lines.
From RKX, also picked up a couple of snipers.

You been searching my browsing history Ash? lol

Only yesterday I came across them and was greatly tempted by their Philippine Scout Cavalry. They look like very tasty sculpts.
