Old West / Re: Solo or Co-op Old West rules« Last post by ced1106 on April 28, 2024, 11:50:29 PM »I'd bolt-on some solo AI system onto your game of choice. I like this one for Song of Blades and Heroes, b/c it has actions models take depending on their behavior, "Conservative / Normal / Aggressive / Crazy" which, imo, suits cinematic wild west, at lesat. https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/251625/ai-deck-solo-system
You could also add "range of control" if you run a posse of greenhorns who don't exactly have the brains to listen to you. SoBH Wild West : https://www.ganeshagames.net/product_info.php?cPath=1_21&products_id=253 SoBH's Fear and Faith is self-contained and has rules for guns. Wild West would use a subset of these rules. : https://boardgamegeek.com/filepage/251625/ai-deck-solo-system **** Also, LA has an old thread : https://leadadventureforum.com/index.php?topic=135096.0 84
The Great War / Re: Wargames Atlantic 28mm Great War Russian Infantry photo review« Last post by carlos marighela on April 28, 2024, 11:15:38 PM »I wonder why they chose to put a singular Arisaka rifle on each frame? Yes, the Russians used them in the Great War but it would be whole units at a time not individuals as they were in a completely different calibre.
Looks like you get 5 officers to a box of 35 too. 85

We all have too many unfinished projects I’m kinda happy that I am nearing a stat where I can play with two armies here. Some more pictures of the finished elements to follow. First a dreadnought. A slightly flat, but very characterful model from CP models. 90
