Under Fire July releases...
« on: July 13, 2017, 03:39:11 PM »
New releases for the month of July are the latest additions to the Under Fire range of 28mm ''Cold War Gone Hot'' figures in the form of West German Polizei.

There are two packs, of four figures each, with four G3 assault rifle armed polizei in one and four polizei armed with light support weapons in the other. All wear skeleton webbing & the Pzf 44 gunner carries a sports bag for his reloads.

The light support weapons are the MG 3 lmg & Pzf 44 and each has a figure firing the weapon, or manouvering with it.

Photo's & a link to the online store are below...

All figures are cast out of white metal and scaled for use in 28mm sized games. I will happily answer any questions people may have.

Regards,

Bill Weston.

Nice figures - I have two questions....

First are those one pieces or do any arms need flying? Not an issue just curiousity as it looks as if there may be a join or two?

Second - having just watched The Baader Meinhoff Complex, are you likely to do even one or two figures with pistol or perhaps SMG?

    Hi Harry. Answers as follows...

1/ In pack 1, the bearded figure will need his right arm glueing on and the running figure both of them. In pack 2 only
the walking MG 3 gunner will need his left arm glueing on. The remaining five figures are all one piece castings.

2/ It all depends on how well these packs sell. The plan is to do at least one more pack, possibly two, with the
Polizei armed with a mix of HK 5s, Uzis and handguns.

2a/ I also hope to commission some opposition for them. Baader Meinhof, Spetznaz & Warpac para's are currently
     being mulled over.

     Hope this helps.

     Regards,

     Bill Weston.

They are beautiful figures and I was going to use the paramilitaries from Mike Bravo as opposition.

Was rather hoping they would be MP-5 armed. Looking good anyway. Spetsnaz would be nice, plenty of figures available already to make the RAF.

I have some Mike Bravo balaclavas already but would certainly buy RAF especially if there were some skorpions. Don't know why, just like the skorpion.

I'll be happy to buy the G3 pack in the new credit card month - the support pack is a bit heavy for the games I envisage.

I've also had the idea of using the Mike Bravo balaclava with AK and pistol figures as KGB or spetznatz

I'm curious - which figures would you use for RAF etc right now?

The butch lass in our Armed Civilians B pack has a Skorpion, although an error I didn't spot until too late is that the stock is modelled folded.  On the snagging list to be corrected one day.  We do have RAF-types on the ideas list via the pledge club on our site.

Saves me a job if UFM does them first though!  There's definitely interest in them if you are thinking about it Westy.
