Brilliant work! I'm awestruck at the detail on those boards, and the painting that brings it out.

Edit: I was mistaken in thinking that "these are all plastic Warhammer building kits." My bad - I should've looked more closely at the link.

What I'd like to know, is if anyone has done them up with removable roofs & floors to display complete interiors.

I've just acquired two boxes of the Warhammer Laketown house. From the instruction sheet, it looks like I should be able to build the second floor to be detachable from the first, in order to display the interior... but now looking at the sprues themselves, I see that some first and second story walls are cast as single units. Sadly, the interior walls are also all smooth plastic. Obviously interiors were not part of the plan when the parts were designed. It would have been so easy for them to lake textured interior walls as well.

So the dilemma remains - will it be worth my time trying to dremel the first and second floors separately, and paint up the interiors prior to assembly? Plus, the floorplans are very cramped, and it seems unlikely that there will be much space inside for positioning minis.

Now here's an oddity: two of the facades on this kit have detailed wood grained inner walls, but most of them are smooth plastic. It's as if the designer of these pieces couldn't decide whether or not to do interiors.

Decisions, decisions!

This isn't plastic GW kit PhilB - its a set of live KICKSTARTER OLDHAMMER inspired buildings and scenery pieces.

see the link - https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1399797098/olde-world-into-the-wild-28mm-fantasy-resin-scener?ref=creator_nav

They are solid resin pieces commission sculpted by Tony Harwood of Dampfpanzerwagon (and some newer pieces sculpted by me).

My intentions are to make further pieces with removable roof and floors and detailed inners.

Hope you like them - more to follow.

I am even more impressed, and sorry about my brainless assumption regarding plastic kits.

Solid resin... these must really be heavy! The details that go into the slate roof on the side of that first house, the missing shingles and just the sheer magnitude of scratchbuilding individual shingles onto the beams and runners - with a hefty sag added in - it boggles the mind.
