Warhammer fortified manor finished!

Hi guys, I have posted in my blog son pics of my last piece of scenery, the fortified manor, by GW... with some aditions and minor conversion.

Cool. I don't know what it was like before conversion (probably skull heavy I assume) but this looks great.

Cool. I don't know what it was like before conversion (probably skull heavy I assume) but this looks great.

Yup; loads of very specific and also very skully WHFB Empire iconography. I have a whole box of these GW buildings. I think they're great, and excellent conversion fodder. I've converted a few buildings myself, and I find them a joy to work with once you figure out the geometry of them. The only downside is the single type of roof; with its characteristic sag, it's too recognisable to use too many times and lengthening or shortening will either look unsightly or cause a lot of extra work.

But as chema1986 has shown; removing the icons is pretty simple and they look even better without all the skulls and whistles...

Please keep it up; your painting and finishing is also excellent :)
