To much work to do  of late - even weekends 

At least being local I don't have to worry about parking

Should be there on Saturday with children (even if they are all grown up) and a hanger on or two.

Nope. For the last two years I’ve got there by about 1030 or 1100 on the saturday to find the car park already absolutely rammed full. Two years ago I managed to park a couple of hundred yards away on the industrial estate opposite. Last year, that was all full or double yellow lined too, so I had to park about a mile away and walk back. Fucking pain in the arse. Frankly. Been going to the show for about 25 years. Never used to have a problem parking there. So either the car park’s got smaller, the show attracts a lot more drivers than it used to (because the show itself appears to have stayed round about the same size), or the sports centre has got ridiculously busy. Or maybe it’s a combination of all those things. But it’s a serious turn off going along. Still not sure I’ll make the effort.

I've got a rare weekend off cos the nipper got me concert tickets 

Stand will be there with obviously.

Won't miss the 4 hour plus journey but will miss the Chinese on Saturday night....
