forgotten pacts / ulterior motives for GA

picked up these two, making my frostgrave / GA library close to complete.

not having played pure FG, is there any reason why these two items can't, in the main, be used for GA?

You might have to change snow trappings to jungle trappings, and ignore some of the wintry flavor text, but I can't see any reason why you couldn't.
